We're on the hunt for a dynamic Loan Officer to join our team. You'll be the pilot, landing smooth loan originations, ensuring our clients' dreams come true while keeping our investments rock solid. If you thrive on challenges and love making things happen, this is the gig for you!

Remote with bi-monthly attendance at office, Lakeway, TX
Shift:
9am – 5pm weekdays

Core Responsibilities
Loan Origination & Underwriting
-
Oversee deal structuring, analysis, valuations, title reviews, and underwriting.

Conduct thorough borrower reviews using the 5 Cs (Character, Capacity, Collateral, Conditions, Capital).

Ensure maximum loan protection: verify title, surveys, legal descriptions, and recording of documents.
Team Leadership & Process Management

Supervise loan origination and processing operations.

Hire, train, and manage loan team members while optimizing for efficiency and budget.

Develop, document, and enforce SOPs that align with underwriting standards.
Client Experience & Loan Closings

Own the borrower journey from start to finish, ensuring timely communication and seamless closings.

Integrate construction management and ensure a smooth handoff during origination.
Innovation & Technology Integration

Collaborate with executive and IT teams to integrate technology and automation.

Lead adoption of internal systems by both staff and borrowers.

Stay ahead of trends—bonus if you bring AI into daily workflows.
Risk Management & Program Development

Support credit risk mitigation and develop internal risk analysis tools.

Evaluate and adjust loan programs based on exceptions and market trends.

Review LOIs, loan docs, modifications, and payoffs with an eye for risk.
Strategic Growth & Product Evolution
-
Contribute to the growth of our loan pipeline in collaboration with the Creative Director.

Help refine and evolve lending products to meet borrower and investor needs.
